Tex Mex Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1 bunch fresh chopped cilantro
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup Dark Espresso Balsamic
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp Chipotle Olive Oil
  • salt and pepper 

Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together until all ingredients are incorporated but do not overmix! (mixture will be tough if over mixed!)
  2. Form 4-5 patties and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least an hour. 
  3. Grill on the barbecue until cooked through.
  4. Top your burgers with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, salsa, and sliced avocado
