Black Cherry Chocolate Fondue
2 cups good semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup 35% whipping cream
¼ cup Black Cherry Balsamic
1 tsp cinnamon
Optional – ¼ cup Amaretto Liqueur
Cut up fruit (strawberries, kiwi, orange slices, pineapple, banana, etc.)
Cubed pound cake
Place the chocolate in a heat proof medium bowl and place the bowl over a pot of simmering water. Be sure the water does not touch the bottom of the bowl as this will scorch the chocolate! Slowly melt the chocolate, stirring every minute or so. Once the chocolate is all melted add the cream, balsamic and the cinnamon. Stir and remove from heat. Stir in the liqueur is using.
Transfer the chocolate mixture in a fondue pot and serve with cut up fruit, pound cake and marshmallows!
