This Favolosa olive oil is from the FS-17 variety. It was developed in Italy in the 1980's and is found in small plantings worldwide. It is a fresh, spicy olive oil with green herbaceous, and green apple notes. It also has both black and chili pepper notes.
It is delicious for pastas with strong flavours, roasting vegetables, and finishing stews and soups.
