Harissa and Mango Smashed Plantains


  • 2 Plantains, sliced about 1/2" thick
  • 1/4 Cup Harissa Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Mango White Balsamic
  • salt


  1. Heat Harissa Olive Oil in a non stick pan and fry the plantain slices for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Smash each slice with the back of a small glass or spoon by pressing down on them lightly.
  3. Drizzle with Mango White Balsamic and fry another 1-2 minutes per side. (add additional Harissa Olive Oil if needed).
  4. Sprinkle with salt and serve.
